1. Stretch Velvet Dress from Bonnie Jean
This has to be top on the list because I bought this for my daughter’s first birthday. Pair this dress with black stockings, black boots, and a pink/black bow, and your daughter is ready to be a diva! The black dress is made of stretch velvet and is very soft – I put it directly on my daughter’s skin and it did not cause any rash. The coat is nice and warm made of combination of polyester and rayon. It has a shiny pink spark to it and is bright for day time as well as night events. The best part: it is machine washable! Bonnie Jean has now become one of my favorite brands for girls’ party wear. They have a lot of variety. Available online on Amazon.com, and in stores such as Kohl’s, Macy’s. The dress costs about 50 USD but you can get for $36 from Amazon.
2. Knit Dresses from Gymboree
I love how these dresses look chic and stylish, and yet keep my little on warm and cozy. These are 100% cotton knit dresses from Gymboree. I paired both of them with the same purple colored stockings – matching for one, and in-contrast for the other. These are supposed to be on the looser side, so you can tuck a warm vest beneath these too. I bought these at the Gymboree store. I have seen the Gymboree brand available in different stores in India too, but I don’t think they have any flagship stores there. If you are really creative, you can knit these dresses from cotton wool on your own, no? Each dress costs about 30 USD.
3. Wool Blended Jacket and Skirt Set from Citlalis
I had never heard of this brand before I came across this while browsing online. The jacket and skirt are made of polyester and wool. The sleeveless ivory top is pleated and made of cotton. Paired with white stockings and ballet shoes, this dress is sure to charm your heart
4. Fleece Coat from Good Lad
Here is a great outfit idea. Pair this coat with an inner and stockings and you’ll have the smartest girl in town! The coat is made of fleece and so is the beret. The beret imparts a very sophisticated look to the outfit. And it also has a very warm and fuzzy feel to it.
