It’s really scary. With the huge variety of baby soaps to choose from, it becomes hard to decide which one to pick. And these days, almost all the soaps have the terms “herbal” ,”organic” and “natural” stamped on them. But, are these so-called natural baby soaps really safe? What is the best of the best?

Himalaya Soap Honey And Milk For Nourishing Baby

Before purchasing, you need to understand how to choose the best soap for baby. So, here are few important points which need to be taken care:

-Baby soap should be gentleIt should  be non-toxic, gentle and free of harmful chemicals. A harsh soap can irritate a baby’s skin and can even cause rashes.

-FragranceIt is always advisable to use fragrance-free baby soap for children. If children dislike the scent of a particular soap, they will start crying, as there is no other way to express their displeasure.

-Hypoallergenic Soaps: If child skin is very sensitive and dry, then you should look for hypoallergenic soap.

-Avoid Buying Extra Lather Soaps: There is a significant difference between cleaning a baby’s skin and cleaning an adult’s skin. Do not go for extra lather soaps as it contains additional chemicals.

Package:  Standard package with a rectangular paper box and a plastic cover sealed round the soap. The paper box lists out all the claims and directions of the soap.

Nature: The soap is milky white in colour. You can have a very good grip on the soap as it is made in such a shape that you can hold it very comfortably and it will not slip away.  It foams very well and rinsing is easy too. It does not melt out sooner like the other mild soaps.  It easily washes away the dirt and oil from the baby’s skin. I sometimes even use it as a shampoo for my baby, it cleans the hair and sweaty hair, scalp of your tender baby but a slight oil quantity stays around.

One bar of Himalaya soap lasts more than a month, not like the other mild soaps which melts away faster…
