 Hey girls :-)

First of all sorry I have been away for sooo long :-) Some renovation work going on at home and hubby took some leaves as well as the laptop :-P The best thing about hubby being home is I don’t need to get out of bed for ANYTHING at all. He gets me everything without even asking. Me pampers me too much! Touchwood!

30 Weeks Pregnancy Update

The week went fine. I went to see my doctor and she seemed happy with my weight gain and the general increase in bump size. I was quite anxious before visiting her and this time she seemed less concerned and that made me relaxed :-)

We got a new washer and dryer and I couldn’t be more excited seeing it getting fixed ;-) Finally no drying issues in winters yayy! Now I can easily cloth diaper my baby too :-D We had to do a lot of change in our washroom hence the renovation.

Hitting the 30th week has been very different for me emotionally. I have started getting the jitters now. Life is going to change completely. I am nervous. I think about this a lot. I wonder how will I take this change when it finally knocks my door :-/  I can already feel the time running now. Not dragging at all now. Next scan is after two weeks. Lets see what it has in store for me.

I have been trying to stay at home as much as possible. Going out makes me very self conscious. Any mommie ever  felt like this too? Do share please. I feel I am the odd one out with no explanation for this.

We ordered our baby cot this week from Mom&Me store which we plan to attach to our bed and co-sleep. Can’t wait for it to reach us. Would take few weeks I think. I am too excited to decorate it. Will post pics once its done :) I will keep it neutral coloured for now.

In the shop it looked like this. You can check out similar cot in  honey colour on baby oye site here

Frequently Asked Questions

What is happening during 30 weeks of pregnancy?

From head to heel, your unborn child, or foetus, measures around 39.9 cm and weighs about 1.3 kg. That is about the size of a cabbage and weighs the same as a large bag of granola. Your baby’s eyes can now focus, and both within and outside the uterus, their vision will continue to grow (womb).

What is the normal weight of a 30 week fetus?

Your child may be more than 10 1/2 inches (270 millimetres) long from head to rump and nearly 3 pounds at this point (1,300 grams).

Is 30 weeks pregnant full term?

Term pregnancies are defined by ACOG and SMFM as follows: Early term: Between 37 weeks and 38 weeks and 6 days, your child is born. Full term: Between 39 weeks and 40 weeks and 6 days, your baby is born. A late-term birth occurs when the baby is between 41 weeks and 6 days old.
