"Hi again. The fleece nappies are called Lollipop Micro - If you look under 'clearance' you'll see them - www.hunnybums.com. They can be folded down at the front so they can be really small- although any nappy at that weight will be a bit bulky! They are £4 now (they were originally £9) and I have 10 left. They should fit a baby up to about 16lb (about 6 months old). You will need a waterproof cover to go over the top as the nappies themselves are only absorbent not waterproof. As I said, you're welcome to have my used xs cover. There's a video showing how to use them - there's a link from the product or you can find it in the 'Hive of Information' The good thing about 2 part nappies is they contain poo really well, even though they're a bit more fiddly to put on than the pocket type. They're really useful in the first few months when the poo is more runny than later on.
If you look at the 'new to reusables' page on our website, it gives you loads of information about what you need to get started. Basically though, you need 20-24 nappies, a bucket to store dirty nappies in, paper or fleece liners to put inside the nappy (to catch the poo and be flushed away or washed) and some sanitiser to put in with your washing powder when you wash them. You'd be able to get away with less nappies to start with as you're probably washing loads of stuff anyway so can add your nappies into your other washing (as long as you use sanitiser). There are kits available for the bucket and sanitiser etc so you can save money there.
You could always start with 10 of the micros (then as your baby grows you could add other nappies (such as the fab Baba + Boo!) - it's always good to have some lovely colours and prints to show off! And pocket nappies are easier to get on a wriggly baby as they get a bit older.
Hope that helps, if you have questions or want to get in touch - info@hunnybums.com is where you'll find me! Hope it's going well with your baby and you're managing some sleep!
Best wishes,
Lucy @ hunnybums."
