HEAVY. Quite extraordinarily so. It has a metal chassis for strength. I felt the fabric was nice and soft but the belts were floppy and didn't feel good quality. The seat is also very bulky and sits VERY high in the car and I would bang my head when I tried to get my daughter into it. My husband injured his shins on the metal parts when trying to fix it. Enough said!
